Come on down to the District to peruse and purchase art! More than 30 artists will be displaying at more than 20 venues throughout the District! It's a great time to shop, eat, drink and be merry!
We invite you to come down to Bucktown every Thursday from 6pm-8pm to explore a different art form, with an art film and discussion on the first Thursday of each month, a reading or performance from an area theatre group on the second Thursday, an invitation-only event on the third Thursday, a pop-up art show on the fourth Thursday, and dance on the fifth Thursday. There will also be chances to win works of art! Stop down this Thursday to learn more!
"Not only can people come to Bucktown on Thursday evenings to shop the galleries and participate in Destination Art, they can have dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants, visit the Figge for their free Thursday events, stop in at the River Music Experience, and generally enjoy this urban experience only a few blocks away from the Mississippi River." said Pamela Crouch, Executive Director of MidCoast Fine Arts.
